Kilnsea on the East Yorkshire Coast of England
Kilnsea is situated on the Holderness coast, East Yorkshire, a few miles from Withernsea to the north and spurn point (head) to the south. This part of the coast is the fastest eroding coastline in the UK, the clay cliffs are eroding at an average of 2.1 meters a year.
Image shows the remains of the road which has literally fallen into the sea. The road connected to the village of Ravenser near Spurn, 300 meters out to sea.
